This afternoon, I enjoyed listening to the Grade 4 students play ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’. 

Bravo les amis! 

I evaluated the students on finger position, tempo, sound and rhythm. This afternoon, students learned how to play ‘Au clair de la lune’. Their music sheet is in their yellow duotang. We also started to identify notes on an activity sheet called Beginners Bounce.

             Practice Bug: practice new song for 10 minutes tonight and as often as they can

*It's been awhile since my last blog. Your child is working so hard lately. We are at the end of our Descriptive unit. We had so much fun!

Good morning Parents,

What a beautiful day ahead of us today! I wanted to share the bulletin board your child has created. The first art lesson of the year was the use of lines. In his/her hand, your child was to create different lines. Also, I would like to take this opportunity to explain the title: 'Visons Haut'! Visons Haut in French means aim high. Encourage your child to always aim and do their best.

I have come across some great lessons to help your child understand the meaning of "Adjectifs".
